If you do not setup the other extra two or three drives maybe more and they remain unformatted. You can go to disk storage select them and have them be parity. If you try doing this from management, raid 5 is not selectable that gives parity. Lose one of those drive and can rebuild it with the still workings ones after you replace the bad drive with another good drive. For those with out internet setting up local account is great, and those with internet local account is great because if you ever lose internet, you can not log in due to verification issues with Microsoft account. Still you can have it save to Microsoft cloud etc when internet comes in, at least this way you can still get into your pc with a dead internet. One thing to point out with Windows 10 activated, second you replace your motherboard it will deactivate and give error message. Per Windows 10 if your old motherboard fails they will allow upgrade, if you just upgraded and other still works got to get a new license. Got dvd games, no dvd drive, no problem just get portable usb dvd drive. Only other encounter issues may come up is cpu upgrading. Check your bios version first before replacing cpu. Might have to update it to support the new chip. Ab-350m gaming 3 needs minimum F20 version just to run amd Ryzen 7 2700. Also keep in mind just like this board, go to high in bios version then lose support for amd a10-9700. Each motherboard is different.

In re cable management: I built my first PC before cable managment was really a thing. My Antec Three Hundred doesn't even support cable management. Not that you can even do anything with PATA cables... My second build was in a HAF 912, which HAS cable management, but it was only my second actual build, and my first in that case. Plus the HAF 912 has no open panel sides, so the rat's nest was hidden under my desk most of the time. My first cable managed build was quite a bit later, when I got a Fractal Nano S with a side window. I decided that if I'm going to have a computer with a side window, I'm going to finally do something in the form of cable management, and I meticulously built that system. Then the next time I was inside of the HAF 912, I took that apart and cable managed it.

One of biggest reasons why you would want to let Windows to update before installing drivers is very simple. Windows gives absolutely 0 f***s about what you are doing and with little bad luck will be installing older version of exactly same driver as you are. Needless to say in terms of cans of worms, this is not one you want to see either... especially because when it happened to me, on reboot, screen got that "your graphic card is broken" pinkish style, which definitely is not confidence boosting. Though there were worse times, I still remember how terrible regular hard drives were or slow internet with Windows 10, because after you plug in the internet, it will basically make your PC unusable for like 30-40min, especially HDD, if you would have Windows installed on that. But it will absolutely hammer internet connection too. Though there is no best way to deal with it, other than just walking away from computer for like an hour and just letting problem solve itself, it is just another case how Windows gives 0 f***s. Because it won't even bother to tell you anything or give you any progress bars on the screen. But as long as that bloody Candy Crush gets installed, MS is fine with that... oh and they did pop me up those questions about experience, then I ranted about everything in one, now they stopped asking questions... though it might have been one where I told them how to shove up Candy Crush where sun doesn't shine... though I am pretty sure I deleted that part out and rest of it was pretty civilized compared to that. :-D

Unfortunately, after I enabled XMP, my games crash so I had to go back down to the stock speeds on the ram. But I ma not to disappointed because this system is such a huge uplift in performance from my FX 8350, I am not terribly upset. Again, thanks for this video!!

  57. J Wilder

    J Wilder13 tuntia sitten

That's pretty much how its done, yeah. The ways to "speed up the process" would actually make it take longer if you are only setting up a single system and only really apply to doing a large number of installs. I probably wouldn't give windows a password until after the setup closes. No complaints about this tutorial.

Price is very wrong. If you're coming to a all ready saturated market for high performing air coolers at a high price, you have to either beat the performance of them or be cheaper. And more compatible which I think this is terrible at just from the looks. We haven't seen a really good review of this things actual compatibility with motherboards and RAM's and if we did I bet it would be one of the worst. Also pretty much every 120mm AIO is cheaper and those fit with anything and cooling performance is similar or better. Though sure AIO's are not forever, probably 5 years and either the pump's break or the liquid has evaporated too much. Air coolers last basically forever so there is that. Oh and why the hell didi they leave the empty space in the middle? You could have just filled that with fins and make the thing smaller thus being more compatible. Going for style points over performance and compatibility is stupid.

Funny thing ist I was just looking for the Alphacool Nexxxos radiators yesterday and exactly that question came up to me. I didnt google it, it just was in my mind. But somehow youtube read my mind and showed me that video today. Mindblowing. I think the reason for that testing result is, that water hits the metal at the same size of surface. At some point there is no use in a higher airflow. Its in a balance with the amount of heat given to the radiator and taken away by the fans. As we know the watertemp before and after the radiator differs in about 1-2°C. Thats so little you can neglect that. And now you are able to look at the whole amount of water as unit. You can compare it with two identical buckets filled with the same amount of water having a hole in the same diameter at the same spot. In a closed system it makes no difference how fast the water moves in there. It will get out in the same time. Back to the radiator: Water has a much better thermal conductivity as air. It leads the heat virtually instant to the Copper what makes the surface so relevant.

Hi there, I have done something to my pc case config that no-one else seems to have done with regard to the cpu AIO rediator and that is, I have put the radiator inlet and outlet pipes at the bottom of the case and the reason is that any loss of coolant over time will not case air bubbles to get into the CPU cooling block. Now the way these things are designed has me believing that if the fluid was reduced then the cpu would be starved of coolant since the pipes are right at the top.... Please would you test my theory and let me know if you think that ultimately this might contribute to early AIO pump failure? Cheers I really like your videos :) Paul. P.s. I know this is really late but I've only just got an AIO and the noise it was making has gone away since I placed the pipes downwards.
